rascheln is a series of compositions for various chamber music settings, starting from the concept of a zip and exploring its different appearances, sounds, functions and underlying meanings in everyday life. Zips are often used (unconsciously) to reveal or hide certain layers, objects, personal belongings, body parts and personalities. This piece is composed using the zip as basic material at different levels.
